Production:

Sourced from 50–90-year-old Grenache vines selected from 4 parcels from 3 different villages located west of Madrid: Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos, and Rozas de Puerto Real. Aged for 10 months in 400 and 700 ltr. French Oak Barriques.

Wine elaborated by Comando G., a group of enologists and wine-growers from the Sierra de Gredos area, who elaborate wines from the Grenache variety. The vineyards are located in Cadalso de los Vidrios, within the D.O. Madrid, at an altitude of 900 m above sea level and on granitic soils in which biodynamic principles are applied.

Tasting Notes:

A much fresher vintage displays wild red fruits with notes of spice and herbs in the nose. The palate is lively and soft, with good acidity with just a hint of oak, less oak than in previous vintages. Long, fruity, and spicy aftertaste.
