Production: 

A blend of Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) with just a tiny percentage of Merlot (10%). After a traditional vinification, the wine ages for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Elaborated by The Montebaco Winery, exclusively from its own grapes sourced from the estate’s 50 hectares, the Monte Alto Estate is located on hillsides at about 850–900 metres high at the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, between the main towns, Valbuena del Duero and Pesquera.

Tasting Notes: Juicy ripe fruits in a supple, smooth, and light wine and fruit-driven with a touch of toasted notes and very fine tannins.

Notes: Drink now and up to 3-6 years.
