Elaborated from a selection of the native grape variety to the area: Tinta de Toro, sourced from their own vineyards and from local traditional winegrowers from different areas within the D.O. Toro, growing on sandy soils and stony terraces.

Production:

Grapes selected at the vineyard and hand-picked. Exclusively bush-trained. Fermented with native and selected yeast in cement and stainless steel casks.

Aged for 4-6 months in cement casks.

Tasting Notes: Intense black fruit combined with spice, violets, and licorice notes. Concentrated with a good weight of ripe, baked plum fruit. Finishing long.

Notes: Best enjoyed over the next 4-5 years.

Compañia de Vinos deTelmo Rodríguez was stablished in 1994 after Telmo's working time in the family-owned winery Remelluri. Actually he is already producing rare and limited high-quality wines in eight different DOs, using exclusively native grape varietals traditional to their regions, following his philosophy of recovering abandoned vineyards that are biodinamically farmed and exclusively bush-trained.
