Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Gran Cruor is the flagship wine of the winery, in which the Syrah grape is, by all accounts, the protagonist. The winery is located on the outskirts of the Priorat village of Bellmunt del Priorat, on the banks of the river Siurana.

Production:

100% Syrah sourced from the La Fredat vineyard in the Coll de la Marina and Les Boves Fresques area. The vines are scattered among valleys and are planted on steep slopes and terraces with soils made up of the characteristic slate named "Licorella".

The wine has been aged for 16 months in new French oak.

This wine has been subjected to a minimum clarification process and therefore could contain natural sediments. It is recommended to decant prior to serving.

Tasting Notes:

The bouquet is quite complex, showing intense aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, and minerals, with toasted notes from the new oak barrels. On the palate, the wine has texture, complexity and distinction. Splendid integration of oak, acidity and tannins.
