Elaborated from a skilful blend of carefully selected 40–60-year-old vines from the autochthonous varieties, Samsó (Carignan) and Grenache, growing on slated slopes (known locally as Licorella soil) from different vineyards in the Priorat region: El Molar, Bellmunt, Falset, Porrera, Poboleda, El Lloar and Torroja del Priorat.

Ecologically farmed and fully certified organic by CCPAE.

Production:

Hand harvested, it goes through a first selection in the vineyards followed by a second selection by hand in the winery. Fermentation and ageing in 1-year-old French oak barrels for 12 months.

Tasting Notes:

Beautifully intense aromas of ripe fruits, dark cherries and liquorice, with rich scents of wild herbs and flowers, marked by the characteristic spicy and mineral hints. Warm and generous, full-bodied and soft-textured, nicely supported by fine, well-integrated tannins.

Note: It is recommended to let the wine breathe or decant before serving. 

Ritme Celler is a personal project of Albert Jané of Jané Ventura in D.O. Penedés and Acústic Celler of D.O. Montsant. It all started in 2003 when he acquired some old native vineyards in the D.O. Montsant. Once more, he maintains his philosophy, respecting the traditional viticulture of the region and the values of the fruit, with no attempt to give pride of place to the wood, great respect to nature, avoiding excessive use of technology and allowing the vines to express their individual characteristics.
