L'inévitable is the latest creation from Les Cousins Marc & Adrià, a young red wine made from local varietals from the village of Porrera: Viognier, Grenache, and Merlot, a blend of a third of each. It is produced outside of the DOQ Priorat classification.

With this wine, they move away from the typicality and the traditional requirements stipulated by the DOQ Priorat regulations. A curious wine that, without losing its Priorat identity, presents a much fresher and elegant style with good acidity. A wine with fine tannins and a pleasant palate.

Production: 

The grapes go through the selection table at the winery. Fermented partly in cement vats and partly in stainless steel vats. The Garnacha is vinified separately, and the Merlot and the Viognier together. The wine rests in cement vats for 8–9 months. Bottled in June 2022.

THE PROJECT

Les Cousins is a label made by two cousins, Marc & Adrià Perez. They started this new project together in 2007, located in the village of Porrera, within the appellation of Priorat. They both have gained wide experience working and studying in various vineyards and projects abroad, including the Cims de Porrera project and the family's vineyards and winery (Mas Martinet), which have made them well-known in the winemaking sector.
