Massalucas is the Roqueta family's most recent project in the Terra Alta DO, located in the municipality of La Pobla de Massaluca, a small town at about 400 metres above sea level in the north of Terra Alta. The project began in 2019 with the aim of producing wines that reflect the Terra Alta's identity and authenticity.

The winery's red wine is made with a coupage of Garnacha and, in a lesser proportion, Samsó. It presents a vigorous style, marked by the forceful lightness of the black Garnacha, where freshness and volume go hand in hand, and maintains the philosophy of its creators to offer wines that express the depth, identity, and pureness of the Terra Alta terroir.

Production:

Aged for 6 months in Central European oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

An intense, tasty, excellent combination of ripe black and red fruit with hints of vanilla and pastry-balsamic notes. In the palate, it denotes freshness, spicy notes, and depth and intensity.

Notes: Drink during the next 2–3 years.
