A distinctive single malt elaborated using the original traditional methods to ensure that the unique whisky flavour passes on unchanged from generation to generation.

The Laphroaig Distillery has been part of the remote island of Islay for 200 years, and its whisky clearly reflects the qualities of the islanders' personalities.

Double distilled and matured in Kentucky oak casks for 10 years. The whisky's distinctively rich flavour comes from malted barley dried over a peat fire, a peat that can only be found on Islay. It is warm and genuine, with a pungent, earthy aroma of blue peat smoke and iodine combined with the sweet nuttiness of the barley and seaweed, as well as a hint of sweetness.
