Founded in 1851, De Muller is a top name in Tarragona, very well known world wide for being the supplier of the traditional Mass wine and for its rancio and fortified wines. At present, De Muller offers a very wide range of quality wines under the Denomination of Origin: Tarragona and also in Priorat and Terra Alta. From the beginning of 1996, the winery surrounded by its vineyards is located in the finca“Mas de Valls” in Reus (Tarragona), their modern installations have a capacity for a production of four million liters, here they elaborate the Tarragona Denomination of Origin wines all sourced from their 150 Ha. of own vineyards. They also have a property in the village of El Molar, in the south-eastern part of el Priorat, 34 Ha. of vineyards, “Mas de les Pusses” and a new cellar with a capacity for 500.000 liters where it is produced the Priorat Denomination of Origin wines.  

Tasting Notes: On the nose reveals ripened and candied fruit aromas as well as anise, toffee and raisin notes. Sweet with a dense texture, with the natural acidity, notes of dates, hazelnuts, lovely honeyed tones and hints of spices.

Note: It is recommended to store the bottle upright. Beside its use as a Mass wine, it can also be appreciated with all kind of pastries, biscuits and dry fruits.
