Marieta is an off-dry or semi-dry wine, 100% Albariño, with 14 g/l of residual sugar, which makes it the first semi-dry from the D.O. Rias Baixas.

Production:

Elaborated by Bodegas Martín Codax, one of Rías Baixas's best-known bodegas, its wines are widely sold outside Galicia. The bodega keeps increasing its range of wines to offer consumers a broad variety.

Marieta has fermented at 16º-18ºC in a stainless steel vat, with fermentation interrupted by cooling. After several rackings, it rests and is filtered before bottling.

Tasting Notes:

Lively and deeply fruited, with peaches, ripe apples, and melon aromas with attractive touches of lemon and citrus fruit notes. The palate is rounded and full-bodied, with a slight bubble, great freshness, and rich citrus fruit flavours.

Notes: Ideal with seafood, fish and mild cheeses.
