A single varietal of the region's most autochthonous variety, Trepat. Grapes sourced from the Voltant del Torrent vineyard, from 20-year-old vines growing on alluvial, clay-limestone, and slate soils on sunny slopes at an altitude of 370 metres above sea level and sourced exclusively from the estate's own 34 ha of vineyards that can be found around the village of Montblanc in the province of Tarragona.
Harvested just before the point of optimal maturity to maintain the freshness of the grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.
The wine is now of ecological agriculture, duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council for Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Catalan Government's Ministry of Agriculture.
Tasting notes:
Salmon pink colour. Light, fresh, and aromatic, displaying intense aromas of fresh red fruits and notes of aromatic herbs with a slight hint of pepper. Fresh and fruity on the palate. A young wine with rich flavours, good consistency, and an elegant finish.
