Production:
Trencaclosques is a wine that is difficult to be classified as either a rosé or white wine. A blanc de noir elaborated entirely from Syrah vines growing on clay soil at the Partida Fontanals, the family's vineyard.
Tasting Notes: Clean salmon colour, fresh, soft, and elegant, succulent sweet red fruits with a lovely aromatic intensity.
Notes: Drink on its youth.
Toni Ripoll is the owner and winemaker of Celler Pascona, a small winery located in the village of Falset. He makes his wines from the 14,5 ha of vineyards divided into 17 different plots stretched around the cellar and planted on terraces with different orientations and three different types of soil: clay, granite, and the typical slate soil, locally known as llicorella.
