Production:

Irur is a single varietal of Grenache, sourced from vines 35 to 70 years old, a wine from the new project of Jaume Roca from Celler Ficaria Vins in La Figuera del Montsant, Tarragona. A project that produces excellent quality wines is based in the zone of Matarraña – Arenys de Lledó in Teruel, where Jaume works with low-yielding old vines cultivated following the organic and biodynamic principles and practises sustainable viticulture with minimum intervention and always being respectful of the environment.

Quite singular with a marked personality, elaborated in a natural style. Fermentation with native yeasts and ageing take place in amphorae, resting for 5 months with their lees.
