Tinc Set is a sparkling wine made by Ramon Jané, viticultor of Mas Candí, under the ancestral method, a very old method that produces sparkling wines after a single fermentation. In the ancestral method, the must begins fermenting in the tank but is bottled before it is finished, allowing the must to finish fermenting in the bottle.

A natural sparkling wine blended from the local varieties of Xarel.lo and Parellada from organic grapes grown on their family's land in Les Gunyoles d'Avinyonet - Alt Penedès, from the vines planted by their grandparent.


Production: 

Hand harvested. Vinification of both varieties together. Fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with the final fermentation in the bottle.

Aged in the bottle with its lees for 8 months.

Bottled without added sulfite. SO2 < 4mg/l . Residual sugar: < 0.8 g/l.

Tasting Notes:  Natural sparkling wine. Fresh, light, fruity, scents of green apple and citric touches.

THE WINERY

Mas Candí is a very successful joint venture of four young people, with an interest in making their own wines from the vines planted by their grandparents on their family's land in Les Gunyoles d'Avinyonet, Alt Penedès, where the Mas Candi Cellar was built in 2006.

All of them, winegrowers and artisan winemakers, have a passionate and restless character to create and try new avenues. As great defenders of native varieties, they have recovered almost extinct Catalan native varieties, and their viticulture practices are always environmentally conscious, using no herbicides or pesticides.
