Produced by Bodegas Tamaral, a small family-run winery founded in 1997. They cultivate over 50 ha of its own low-yield, well drained vineyards at an altitude of over 900 meters above sea level around the municipal districts of Peñafiel, Pesquera del Duero, and Padilla de Duero.

Production: 

The wine has aged for 14 months in 40% French and 60% American oak barrels.  

Tasting Notes:

Intense scents of red fruits with spicy and liquorice notes. Fleshy and elegant on the palate, with a supple texture, ripe, spicy red fruit, a mineral and balsamic touch, and vanilla notes standing out towards a long and persistent finish.

Notes:  It can be enjoyed very well now and for up to 6-8 years.
