Production:

Made from a selection of Grenache and Carignan grapes sourced from Centennial vines. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, followed by another 6 months in bottle before its release.

Tasting Notes:

Ripe fruit, a spicy nose, mineral notes, and thyme and rosemary aromas. Well-structured and profound, with black cherry fruit flavours and toasted notes, good acidity, and rounded tannins on a long and persistent finish.

Notes: To drink during the next 5–6 years.

THE WINERY

Costers del Priorat is located in the municipal district of Bellmunt de Priorat in the highly acclaimed wine region known as Priorat. The winery comprises 20 ha of vineyards, mostly planted with old Grenache and Carignan vines that are between 40 and 100 years old, but there have also been recently planted vineyards of Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards can be found on small, steep terraces; they produce very low yields, and the work is done entirely by hand.
