Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Ferrer Bobet has a great respect for the expression of the terroir; their aim is to make top-quality Priorat wines that reflect with elegance, freshness, and harmony the mineral essence and complexity of the region.

Production:

The grapes are sourced from very old Carignane and Grenache vines from the best Priorat vineyards. These vineyards have an exceptional slate soil, locally known as "licorella", and are located on steep slopes and high elevations. The grapes were handpicked and handselected, grain by grain, on a double sorting table, so only the best were picked.

Fermentation takes place in 15- and 30-hl stainless steel and oak vats. The wine has been aged for 15 months in new fine-grained, medium, and lightly toasted French oak barrels, followed by another 11 months in bottle before its release. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Note: It is recommended to decant before serving. It will gain even more complexity with time in bottle. Drinking nicely now or during the next decade.
