Production:

This is a young and ecological wine, a blend of mainly black Grenache and, in smaller proportions, Syrah and Merlot.

Manually harvested at the optimal ripening time. Controlled fermentation and maceration during 15 days.

The wine is now organically farmed and duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council of Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan government.

Tasting Notes: Fresh, smooth, and flavoursome wine with red fruit aromas. Palate round and smooth, warm bouquet, and good fruit definition.

Notes: Best enjoyed in youth over the next 1–3 years.

Cellers Tarroné is a small family-run winery located in the small village of Batea in the province of Tarragona and within the Designation of Origin Terra Alta. It comprises 35 hectares of vineyards distributed in six different plots with soils of a clayey and chalky nature, poor in organic matter, and located at an altitude of 350–500 metres above sea level, enjoying the Mediterranean climate with a continental influence.
