Production: 

The young red wine is from the Flying Scotsman, Norrel Robertson, the winemaker and Master of Wine. A single varietal red wine, full-bodied, rich, and spicy, sourced from low-yielding old vines between 30 and 50 years old, growing on slopes at 800 meters above sea level on poor mineral soils in the Ribota River valley in the Calatayud denomination of origin, Aragón.

The wine has not seen any oak, which makes it very juicy, fruit-driven, and straightforward, with scents of raspberry and cherry fruit, marked by the characteristic spicy hints. Smooth with fine, soft tannins and the right acidity. It has a superb quality-price ratio.
