Matraketa Negre is a single blend of Black Grenache, grapes from the family estate, "Finca Els Plans, a 2.8 hectare vineyard on clay-calcareous soils in La Figuera, in the Montsant region.
Wine elaborated in a natural style, without added sulphites and produced in small quantities. This vintage produced only 1604 bottles.
Manual selected grapes. Fermented with native yeasts and aged on its lees for four months in a clay vat.
Tasting Notes: Youthful, fresh and mineral, juicy, fluid, with a distinct fruity character. On the palate, the wine is smooth, displaying forward and red fruit. Round and beautiful balance.
