Production:

Sourced from a selection of the youngest Grenache vines and the oldest Carignan vines, planted on steep slopes on the typical slate soil known as "Llicorella", at an altitude of 450–650 meters above sea level.

Each variety has fermented and matured separately. It has aged for 16 months in Allier French oak, 30% new and 70% 1 year old.

The wine has been organically farmed and produced, duly certified by the authority of CCPAE, the Catalan Council of Organic Production, the public watchdog responsible to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Catalan Government.


Tasting Notes:

Very intense and forward, with scents of violets, redcurrants, and wild berries, and a mineral and minty nose. Round and fresh, with ripe fruit flavors and fine tannins. Elegant and long finish.

Food Suggestion: Especially red grilled meats and rich meats like lamb, duck, and game.
