Production: 

Grapes sourced from different plots in the municipal district of Anguix, Burgos, and planted on clay-calcareous soils.

Grapes are hand-sorted. Fermentation and maceration for 15 days. Aging for 18 months in mainly new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: The blackberry and red mature fruit are overlaid with spice. Elegant, creamy, with marked tannins and a touch of oak flavors, finishing dry.

BODEGAS LOS ASTRALES

The Bodega was established in 2001. The estate consists of 28 hectares, of which 18 hectares are planted under vines ranging from 20 to 70-year-old Tinto Fino. It belongs to the Romero de la Cruz family, with a longtime tradition in wine-growing. Their winemaker and technical consultant is Eduardo Garcia, son of Mariano Garcia from Bodegas Mauro.
