Mas del Botó is a red wine that matures on lees with grapes of native varieties from its own vineyards. A wine with excellent bottle aging potential.

The wine is made by Mas del Botó, a family-run winery housed in an old farmhouse in the valley of the river Cortiella, Alforja, within the DO Tarragona.

Mas del Botó elaborates its wines with the grapes from the 5 hectares of vineyards owned by the Llauradó family, located at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level.

Tasting Notes: 

Deep cherry red colour. Warm and enveloping, with forest fruit, blueberries, liquorice and aniseed notes. Full-bodied, good weight, mature red fruits, and a pleasant, persistent and mineral warmth.

Note: This is a wine to be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years.
