A new wine is born at Dominio del Bendito Celler, El Buen Rollo, with a fruitier style and lighter tannins, bears a different style to its siblings. It is made entirely from Tinta de Toro, the local name for the Tempranillo grape, of grapes selected from own vineyards that are still uncertified, as well as those of other local winegrowers. The grape's ages range from 15 to 40 years (60%) and the remaining, from vineyards over 45 years of age.

Production:

The vinification is artisanal in a modern winery. Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel and cement tanks between 12 and 25 days. Matured for 3 to 4 months in used American and French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: 

Very fruity, yet elegant and light. Clean, cherry-like fruit flavours open the palate with spice and good acidity.

THE WINERY

With the help of his family, propietor Antony Terry, a vigneron in Toro, made his passion into reality, and, as a result, Dominio del Bendito Winery was born in 2004. From then onwards, Antony produces his own wines that are authentic and personal, of the highest quality, exclusively handcrafted red wines made of Tinta de Toro, sourced from the 13 hectares of his own vineyards plus another 15 ha that he manages very closely. Small plots in one of the best vineyards in Toro: "La Jara", a unique and ancient vineyard site next to the river Duero, enjoying exceptional climatic and geological conditions. The majority of the vines are over 45 years old and are planted on their own roots, with the remaining vines ranging in age from 14 to 30 years.
