Selected grapes from old vineyards on clay-limestone soils.

Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Very ripe, deep fruit aromas, mineral, and spice notes. Intense berry notes and fresh fruit on the palate, a gorgeous creamy texture, and soft tannins to round it off.

Notes: Drinking very well now and during the next 4-5 years.

Coca i Fitó is about the brothers Toni and Miquel, the driving force behind this unique and innovative Celler that creates singular and very much appreciated great quality wines. Coca i Fitó is the brand that identifies the winery's more singular wines.

The wines are made by Toni, a renowed oenologist with an extensive curriculum and a great reputation in the area. Their project, which began in 2006 in DO Montsant, has not stopped expanding, always searching for new challenges and wine-producing regions to add to their already impressive and interesting range of wines. They have since added DO Terra Alta, DO Empordá, and recently also started making wine in the DO Ribeira Sacra.
