Production:

This is a young, fresh and fruity red wine made using the carbonic maceration process, where the whole grapes ferment at a high temperature of 30ºC without oxygen.

Crafted from a selection of grapes grown on their own vineyards.

Tasting Notes: 

Young wine, aromatic and fruity, displays the characteristic aromas of carbonic maceration, red fruit such as strawberries and raspberries, along with some floral nuances and a slight lactic touch. The palate is round, light and fresh. Soft tannins with a balanced acidity.

Celler El Masroig is one of the most well-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 ha of vineyards on property, which makes it one of the largest cellars under the denomination of Origin Montsant.
