Pacharan is a liqueur almost exclusively made in Navarre, North Spain, where it is a traditional and very popular after-meal drink, dating back to medieval times.

Production:

It is made by macerating the selected blackthorn or sloe berries growing wild (Endrinas) in anise, using the same artisan methods and traditional resources since its beginning.

It is stored in 500-liter oak casks where the sloe berries are macerated for at least six months. The result is an intense ruby colour with violet edges. A complex, fruity, sweet, and balsamic nose. Dense and round on the palate.

Best served chilled at 6–8ºC, in its purest form, or with ice if preferred as an after-meal drink to aid digestion.
