This Liqueur of brandy has been distilled from pure wine at low graduation, obtained from the "criaderas" of the first phase in the ageing process of their appreciated brandy, "San Cristino", soleras dating back to 1948.
Production:
Once the wine spirit has been obtained, it is aged in 750-litre chestnut wood casks that had previously held their Pedro Ximenez made from raisins. Ten thousand bottles are obtained annually. All the production is limited, numbered, and personally signed as a guarantee of their authenticity.
Tasting Notes:
Amber colour, clean, bright, and unctuous. Good intensity on the nose, displaying aromas reminiscent of raisins and plums, and an elegant fragrance with a balanced intensity. Round, pleasant, and elegantly balanced, with a subtle natural sweetness lingering in the aftertaste. Invites another sip simply to enjoy it; despite its 40% alcohol, it does not give a burning sensation in the throat, being simply round and smooth.

Ximénez-Spínola is a small, independent family winery, a specialist in elaborating products exclusively from Pedro Ximénez. They put all their effort into the quality and prestige of their production, and as a result, their production is extremely small, with releases very limited and each numbered, which transforms each bottle into a unique piece with a full guarantee of the quality and age of their products.
