The Talisker Distillery is the only distillery on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, located on the rugged western shore of the Isle of Skye. Since it was founded in 1830, the distillery has remained faithful to traditional values, with the distillation process virtually unchanged as a hundred and eighty years of knowledge have been passed down from generation to generation of distillers. The result is this much-priced whisky richly flavoured with a distinctive peatiness and maritime character.

Talisker is the Isle of Skye malt in the group of the "six Classic Malts".
