This Old Harvest is the result of a careful blend of the 1918’s soleras (Pedro Ximénez from raisins ) and the 1964’s soleras (Pedro Ximénez from oxidative ageing). The casks selected from each solera are blended a year before its bottling with a major proportion of oxidative ageing wine but nicely rounded off with the raisins’ wine.
Tasting Notes:
Dark amber colour, clean and bright, showing good density. Toasty-scented nose. Big and rounded on the palate, well balanced, and mouth-filling up-front palate of raisiny toasty flavours and soft smoky touches. Medium dry with a pleasant natural sweetness and an almond-flavoured aftertaste.

Ximénez-Spínola is a small, independent family winery specialising in elaborating products exclusively from Pedro Ximénez. They put all their effort into the quality and prestige of its production, and as a result, their production is extremely small, with releases very limited and each numbered, which transforms each bottle into a unique piece with a full guarantee of the quality and age of their products.
