Dos Deus DIP Fumat/Smoked has been inspired by the Islay smoked Scotch whisky. It is a vermouth that comes from the very heart of the prestigious Priorat wine region.
It is made according to the tradition of the Scottish distillates, which involves roasting the plants using charcoal smoke and organic peat. Blended with Priorat wines, which gives it its characteristic intense and complex flavour. Refined by leaving the vermouth to rest in new, extra-toasted 200-litre American oak barrels, such as those used to produce Bourbon.
This is a crafted vermouth created by Priorat Lab, a microdistillery and winery based in Bellmunt del Priorat in the province of Tarragona, a project that began as an experimental lab to create new and original drinks and distilled liquors by updating old traditional recipes for the new times and the needs of a modern consumer.
Tasting notes: A vermouth with strength and complexity. Displaying a smoky, saline, and a caramelised fruit background. Notes of liquorice, cinnamon, candied pear, and marked toasted aromas.
Note: Ideal as an aperitif. To be served cold, on its own, with ice or in cocktails.
