Flor de Vetus is a single-vineyard fresh white wine by Bodegas Vetus, one of the four companies that compose the Artevino Group (Izadi, Fincas Villacreces, Orben, and Vetus). Bodegas Vetus was founded in 2003 in the D.O. Toro-Zamora, where it had 20 hectares of vineyards with vines planted in 1990 on a slope at 700 metres above sea level with a north-south orientation.

Production:

The Flor de Vetus is made from 100% Verdejo grapes sourced from a selection of small sandy plots in micro-old vineyards growing at high altitudes, 900 metres above sea level, located in the furthest and most occidental area of the Denomination of Origin Rueda.

Tasting Notes: 

An upfront aromatic blend of green pear and gooseberry fruits and tropical notes with a bright citrus and fruity acidity. Excellent quality-price value.

Notes: To be enjoyed now in its youth.
