Auditori Blanco from old vines, the new adition to Acústic Celler in Montsant, is a symphony of pleasure that will transport all your senses back to the Montsant region.

Production:

Organically produced from grapes sourced from the three oldest estates, with vines older than 50 years old. 

The Garnacha Blanca, planted in 1939 in Els Guiaments; The Macabeo, planted in 1950 in the Tros de Marmellans vineyard in Capçanes; and the Pansal, planted in 1942 in the Serra d'Almos.

It has macerated for two days at 8º-10º. Fermented in concrete, clay amphora, French oak fudres and barrels of 400 liters. Matured for 10 months in contact with its lees and with weekly battonage.

The wines from the winery: Acústic Celler, are organically farmed and produced wines, and duly certified by the authority CCPAE, the Catalan Council of organic production, the public watchdog responsible to the Catalan Goverment's Ministry of Agriculture.

Tasting Notes:  It exhibits an intense colour due to maceration and ageing with its lees, aromas of citrus fruit, spicy and Mediterranean forest plants. The densely textured palate has fruit and spice, with well-integrated acidity and a lengthy aftertaste.

 

Acústic Celler is a personal project of Albert Jané of Jané Ventura in D.O. Penedés. It all started in 2003 when he acquired some old native vineyards in the D.O. Montsant. Once more, he maintains his philosophy, respecting the traditional viticulture of the region and the values of the fruit, with no attempt to give pride of place to the wood, great respect to nature, avoiding excessive use of technology and allowing the vines to express their individual characteristics.
