The new rosé wine from Abadal winery in Pla de Bages is a fresh, young and vibrant wine that perfectly captures the essence of the winery and the surrounding Mediterranean forest. It is a blend of historic grape varieties and the result of Abadal's commitment to continuing to recover traditional local varieties. A work that has been happening since the founding of the winery and has seen the recovery of Picapoll and Mandó as the main protagonists.

Production: 

It goes through a cold maceration; afterwards, it undergoes a short ageing period of 2-3 months on its lees to add creaminess. 10% of the wine is briefly aged in 500-litre oak barrels for 3 months to add volume to the palate.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh, vibrant wine with an aromatic profile and this distinct Mediterranean flair we all love. The nose displays notes of Mediterranean herbs and aniseed intermixed with red fruit and light spicy hints. On the palate, it stands out for its vibrant acidity, freshness and elegance.
