The new rosé wine from Abadal winery in Pla de Bages is a fresh, young and vibrant wine that perfectly captures the essence of the winery and the surrounding Mediterranean forest. It is a blend of historic grape varieties and the result of Abadal's commitment to continuing to recover traditional local varieties. A work that has been happening since the founding of the winery and has seen the recovery of Picapoll and Mandó as the main protagonists.
Production:
It goes through a cold maceration; afterwards, it undergoes a short ageing period of 2-3 months on its lees to add creaminess. 10% of the wine is briefly aged in 500-litre oak barrels for 3 months to add volume to the palate.
