Production: Elaborated from the three traditional cava varieties: Macabeu, Xarelo and Parellada complementing the blend with the universal Chardonnay, all sourced from the excellent fincas of their own estate: Sumarroca, Molí Coloma and Sabartés, and aged for an average of 24 months. Founded in 1986, this House makes a wide range of very good, reliable and well priced wines. Sumarroca comprises currently of 455 ha. located in the beautiful Penedès region, this makes it a quite big estate and allow them to supply the wineries with 100% of the grapes they need to make their wines and cavas.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow in colour with consistent small bubbles forming a slight circular crown in the glass. Scents of fresh fruit and some elegant aromatic herbs hints. Clean and creamy entry in the mouth, slightly sweet due to the addition of expedition liqueur, balanced acidity with a graceful lasting bead of tiny bubbles.
Note: Best consumed up to 12 – 18 months after disgorgement date. Ideal to accompany a meal from beginning to end.
