Production: 

Sourced from Grenache younger vines ranging from 15 to 25 years old. Fermented in stainless steel at temperature-controlled, cold stabilisation and light filtration.

Tasting Notes: 

Fresh and fruity, especially cherry and red berry fruit, with rich scents of flowers and violets. Rich and complex in the mouth, soft with a light vein of tannins over floral notes, with an excellent refreshing finish. A fresh, crisp, and lively summer red wine.

Notes: To be enjoyed in its youth over the next 1-2 years. Ideal with chicken, salads, pizzas, and BBQ.

The Winery

Founded in 1933 by five families from the village of Capçanes, they together established a cooperative that would handle large quantities of grapes economically and efficiently. The cooperative bears the name of the village where it is located: Capçanes, a village hidden away in the Priorat hills inland from Tarragona and with a long wine-growing history.
In the 1990s, the company was reinvented as an independent company with its original members as shareholders; today, they have around 130 members and produce a wide selection of high-quality wines, including the well-known Peraj Ha’abib, a kosher wine, under the Montsant appellation.
