Production: 

The small production consists of pure Garnatxa sourced from a single vineyard of 50-year-old vines from the mountains overlooking the village of Scala Dei. Here, on chalk-rich clay soils at an elevation of 800 metres above sea level, the Grenache thrives.

Biodynamic farming, hand-harvested, followed by a rigorous selection of the fruit. Full clusters fermented in vat with natural yeasts, with no pigeage or pumping overpressing after 2 weeks. The wine ages for 24 months in a single 1200-litre oak foudre from Austria.

Tasting notes:

Super berry and mineral-scented nose, blackcurrant with spices, a floral touch, and earthy minerality. Elegance and finesse at its best. Perfect balance of acidity, dryness, deep, rounded flavours and smooth tannins.

Notes: It will develop beautifully in the bottle for many years to come.

All the wines at Terroir Al Límit are elaborated by practising sustainable viticulture with great respect for nature and its surroundings. The wines are organically farmed following ecological principles. Respect for the environment manifests itself throughout the winemaking process, from the grape harvest down to the bottling. The grapes are hand-harvested and hand-sorted both in the vineyards and in the cellar. Since its beginning in 2004, Terroir Al Limit has reached a highly respected status not only in the region but also worldwide, producing wines of the highest purity and maximum expression of terroir.
