Destrankis is sourced from 2 different fincas owned by the Aixalà family, which are planted with Grenache vines less than 25 years old and old Carignan vines on the characteristic slate named Licorella soil at an altitude of 339–387 metres above sea level. The winery is located in Torroja del Priorat, within D.O.Q. Priorat. 

The cultivation of the vineyards is done under sustainable viticulture and observing biodynamic principles. They employ no pesticides, fungicides, or herbicides. Aged for 9 months in 3rd- and 4th-year French and American oak. Today, their vineyards are fully recognised and certified by the Catalan Organic Farming Council (CCPAE), and they also apply preparations based on biodynamic farming methods.

Tasting Notes: 

Fresh red fruit aromas, herbal rosemary, thyme, and mineral notes. Palate dense, mineral with sweet spices and ripe forest fruit.
