Rozas is one of the new wines elaborated under the classification of "Vino de Pueblo" by Comando G, as they are known, Fernando Garcia, Daniel Landi, and Marc Isart, oenologists and winegrowers from near the Sierra de Gredos, who together make wines from the Garnacha grape variety.

A 100% Garnacha blend from old vines about 90 years old planted on granitic soil at 900 metres altitude, in the municipality of Rozas del Puerto del Real, Valle del Tiétar, in the Sierra de Gredos.

Elaboration:

Produced using traditional methods, practising organic farming and biodynamic techniques.

Hand-harvested, gentle, and long maceration with whole grapes. Fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine has aged in foudres and concrete vats for 10 months. Bottled without fining or filtering.


Tasting Notes:

Elegant, with a great personality and marked Mediterranean character. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit, raspberries and cherries, notes of sweet spices and a mineral background. On the palate, it shows freshness and smoothness with soft and tasty tannins. Long and persistent finish.
