Celler El Masroig is one of the most well-known wineries in the Montsant region. It dates back to 1917 and today comprises over 200 members with approximately 500 ha of vineyards on property, which makes it one of the largest cellars under the denomination of Origin Montsant.

Production:

Red wine elaborated from the local grape varieties Grenache and Samsó (Carignan), traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by 8 months of ageing in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Cherry-scented nose and mineral, slight floral notes with good grip and spice, smooth oak, and silky tannins.

Notes: To drink over the next 4-5 years after bottling.
