The wines Ritme Blanc and Ritme Negré 2010 were the first vintage of the new project in DOQ Priorat from winemaker Albert Jané (Acústic Celler in DO Montsant and Jané Ventura in DO Penedés). With this project, Albert maintains his principles once more, respecting the values of the fruit with no attempt to give the wood pride of place, showing great respect for nature, and avoiding excessive use of technology.

Production:

Sourced from old Grenache and Carignan vines, it has matured in first, second, and third-year French oak barriques for 10 months. The wine has not been filtered or clarified to preserve its flavour and identity, and it is likely to present sediments.

It is recommended to let the wine breathe in the glass for a short time to achieve its maximum flavour. Drink now and over the next 3-4 years.

Tasting Notes:

A fresh and elegantly flavoured wine filled with plenty of wild red fruit and raspberry aromas. Slight floral notes, lively and warm. Charming style with easy-drinking tannins.

Ritme Celler is a personal project of Albert Jané of Jané Ventura in D.O. Penedés and Acústic Celler of D.O. Montsant. It all started in 2003 when he acquired some old native vineyards in the D.O. Montsant. Once more, he maintains his philosophy, respecting the traditional viticulture of the region and the values of the fruit, with no attempt to give pride of place to the wood, great respect to nature, avoiding excessive use of technology, and allowing the vines to express their individual characteristics.
