Naltres is a red wine produced organically by the Cooperativa L'Olivera in the Riu Corb Valley Sub-zone.

Production:

The grapes are hand-harvested from ecological vineyards. The black Grenache has aged in oak for 8 months, while the rest have spent time in stainless steel deposits.

Tasting Notes:

It presents a clean nose of good intensity where the ripe red fruits, raspberries, and blackberries are highlighted. On the palate, it shows more red fruit, quite ripe with sweet spices and ripe tannins, good acidity, and a lovely, pleasant finish.

Notes: Best enjoyed over 2-3 years.

 L’Olivera is a social integration cooperative, whose members are people with difficulties and disabilities who participate actively throughout the entire process. The project started in 1974 in the village of Vallbona de les Monges in the south of the province of Lleida, a place well known for the presence of the oldest Cistercian convent in Catalonia. The vineyards are part of the Denomination of Origin Costers del Segre's Valls del Riu Corb Subzone. They cultivate the vineyards through manual labour, almost in the traditional manner. They practise organic farming, and the vineyards have received full certification.
