La Petarda Sangria de Cava is a modern and pioneering project, the first bottled cava-based sangria to come on the market.
Sangria is a traditional and very popular drink among many people in Spain, especially in the summer, for its refreshing fruit flavours. It is an iced drink typically made of red wine mixed with sugar, fruit juice, and other ingredients. There are countless recipes to make sangria.
Serving Temperature:
Serve extra chilled in a wine glass, with ice. On its own or by adding seasonal red fruits Optimum temperature: 6ºC. Perfect to accompany appetisers, it is also delicious as a base for cocktails. Contains sulphites.
Production:
A light, sparkling sangria made from Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes by the Charmat method, where the second fermentation takes place in a large stainless-steel tank prior to bottling, introducing concentrated flavours in isobaric machines to maintain the carbon.
The result is a light and seductive sparkling wine with a dark cherry colour and fine bubbles. Fresh and floral, with subtle aromas reminiscent of blueberry and raspberry. Sweet and persistent.
