Production: 

Elaborated from 10–12 years old vines. Manual Harvest with a second selection process at the winery. The wine has been aged for 7 months in 500 and 300 ltr. 2nd-year French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Aromatic nose with a marked floral bouquet, fresh red fruit, raspberry, mineral and vanilla notes. A smooth, medium-bodied, flavoursome wine, good acidity with well-integrated oak and finishing well with some soft tannins.

Clos Figueras was purchased in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan on the recommendation of Réne Barbier. The 18-hectare estate is located just to the north of the renowned village of Gratallops. Actually, the vineyard includes around 2500 old Grenache and Carignan vines, which are the base for the Clos Figueres; the remaining vines were planted in 1998 and are the base for the elaboration of Font de la Figuera and Sierras del Priorat.
