Alcohol Volume: 14.5% vol.

Serving Temperature: 10° - 12°

Production: 

Fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature with skin contact for the viognier. The Grenache ferments in French oak barrels. Ageing takes place in stainless steel vats for 6 months.

Clos Figueras was purchased in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan on the recommendation of Réne Barbier; the 18-hectare estate is located just to the north of the famed town of Gratallops. Actually the vineyard includes around 2500 old Grenache and Carignan vines, which are the base for the Clos Figueres; the rest of the vines were planted in 1998 and are the base for the elaboration of Font de la Figuera and Sierras del Priorat.  

Tasting Notes: Warm, fresh and fruity, lightly grassy with a hint of spice and mineral. Good round white fruit on the palate, with fine acidity and crisp mineral notes, opens out very well, finishing lightly spicy and mineral.
