Pere Punyetes Negre is a young red wine elaborated by Cava Varias, Caves with almost 100 years of history, founded in 1918 by the Miró family from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the well-known village in the Alt Penedès for being the birthplace of the Designation of Origin Cava.

Vinification:

The wine has macerated for about 20 to 25 days, then it is transferred to another tank where the alcohol fermentation process is completed at a low temperature, between 16° and 18°C.

Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red colour with violet highlights. Intense nose with scents of red forest fruits. Fresh, fruity, and straightforward, with soft integrated tannins and acidity.

Notes: To drink now and for up to 2 years. Ideal for grilled meat, as well as soft and milder cured cheese and all kinds of pasta.
