Small family-run winery located in the village of Porrera, D.O.Q. Priorat. The family Castellví-Figuerola renovated in 1999 the old family townhouse to accommodate the winery and start to make their own wines. They personally carry out the total process of the operation. They make wines from grapes sourced exclusively from their own estates, "Mas d’en Caçador" and "Mas d’en Ferran", which have been in the hands of the family over several generations dedicated to growing grapes sold to other wineries.

Production:

Roquers de Samsó is a very limited crafted wine, made exclusively from centenarian Carignan vines coming from their “Mas d’en Caçador” vineyard in Porrera. Aged between 16 and 18 months in new French oak.  792 bottles made for the 2019 vintage

Tasting Notes: 

Deep black fruit aromas. Ripe, warm, spicy, smoky notes, and earthy tannins. Rich and intense with good weight and balance.

Notes: Drink now and up to 10-15 years.
