Lluna Vella is made exclusively from pure Grenache grapes sourced from a single estate, Mas de Dalt-Masos, a small plot of 4 hectares located at about 450 meters above sea level with a northwest exposure. Made in the same way as its brother, “La Guinardera” both are made exclusively from Grenache. The only difference between both wines is the orientation of the vineyards from which they are sourced. While La Guinardera comes from vineyards facing south, the Lluna Vella comes from vineyards facing northwest.

Production: The wine has aged for 12 months in used 300- and 500-liter French oak barrels (90%) and a small amount in American oak barrels, followed by an additional 12 months resting in bottle before its release.

Tasting notes: Excellent freshness, fruit and minerality, red cherry and floral scents, fine tannins, spicy fruit, and a pleasantly long finish.
