El Lllop is a single-estate wine sourced from over 60-year-old vines of Grenache. The grapes are grown in the "Pineyard", an own vineyard composed of old vines growing on very poor and dry soil on the slated steep slopes in the municipal district of Torroja del Priorat.

Production: 

The wine has fermented in stainless steel vats and in a 600-litre French oak barrel. Aged for 12 months in

Bottled in April 2023. Small production of 410 bottles.

Tasting Notes: 

The wine has an intense cherry colour. Aromas of ripe black fruit, figs, and prunes, with balsamic and menthol notes.

A sumptuous palate of rich fruit flavours, with an integrated spice and mineral background. Finishing with an outstanding length and a ripe, fruit-filled aftertaste.

Soladares Smart Fermentations is Antoni Sánchez Ortiz's most personal project. A tiny but enthusiastic venture in Morera del Montsant that creates wines with personality, sourced from old vines over 60 years old, located in the municipality of Torroja del Priorat.

Antoni has a formidable curriculum when it comes to winemaking and brings his formidable experience and passion to the making of this beautifully crafted wine. He is currently the winemaker at the Perinet winery in La Morera del Montsant in Priorat.
