Serving Temperature: 16º - 18º

Production:

Sourced from selected microparcels, low-yielding old vines.

Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature and ageing for 16 months in fine-grained French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

Good aromatic intensity, smoothness, ripe dark fruits, with a touch of minerality and spice, a full-flavoured wine with some well-integrated tannins.

Notes: To be enjoyed over the next 6–7 years.

Izadi means nature and is located deep in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa, at the feet of the Cantabria Mountain Range, in the municipality of Villabuena, one of the most privileged areas of the D.O. Rioja Alavesa. They have 187 ha of old vines facing southwards, with exceptional soil and a privileged microclimate.
